Instructions for how to backup all of Home folder to CD 1. Insert the "Home" CD. 2. In Windows Explorer, check there is content on the "Home" CD including previous backup folders. 3. Exit Windows Explorer and any other programs so nothing can interfere with Nero. 4. Turn off the screen saver. 5. Double-check any power-saving features are turned off. 6. Run Nero. 7. In "New Compilation" dialog box, check that "CD-ROM (ISO)" icon is highlighted. 8. Click "Continue Multisession disc" radio button. 9. Click "New" button. 10. In "Select Track" dialog box, select the last track. 11. Click "OK" button. 12. On the "Refresh complete!" dialog box, click the "OK" button. 13. In the left pane, select the "Home" root folder. 14. Right-click on the "Home" root folder. 15. Select "Create folder" menu option. 16. Type in "Home " followed by the date of the latest file in the same way as "17th May '05". 17. In the right pane, select the "D:\Home" folder". 18. In the right pane, select all of the folders (e.g. "Drawings", "Planning documents by 3rd parties", and "Writing"). 19. Drag the highlighted folders to the new folder in the left pane. 20. Using the left pane, expand all of the folders and check that none of the filenames or sub-folders are italicised. 21. In the top toolbar, click the "Opens the write-CD-Dialog." button. 22. In the "Write CD" dialog box, check that the "Write" box is CHECKED. 23. Check that the "Finalize CD (No further writing possible!)" box is UNCHECKED. 24. Check that the "Write Speed" is set to "8x (1,200 KB/s)". 25. check that the "Number of Copies" text box is set to "1". 26. Check that the "Seamless link" check box is CHECKED. 27. Click on the "Write" button. 28. Follow instructions, don't remove the CD, let Nero do ejecting and inserting. 29. Exit Nero, not saving project. 30. Check new CD folder in Windows Explorer. 31.
